On October 15, 2024, a notification signed by Mr. Md. Uzzal Hossain, Senior Assistant Secretary of the Contract and Foreign Recruitment Branch, Ministry of Public Administration, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh (Memo No: 05.00.0000.146.01.013.17-593), appointed Professor Dr. Mohammad Shahedur Rahman as the Director General of the National Institute of Biotechnology (NIB) for a term of two years, effective from the date of joining.
