Cancer is one of the world’s most debilitating diseases. Bangladesh has 1.3 to 1.5 million cancer patients. Around 0.2 million newly diagnosed patients with cancer per year, which is creating a massive socio-economic burden. Given the poor patient outcomes and the rising global cancer incidence, cancer prevention seems to be more important than cure. Therefore, I want to emphasize social consciousness and epidemiological cancer research in addition to investigating the molecular mechanisms. The findings of my research can improve the quality of life of patients with cancer both in my country and elsewhere.
