Nafisa Nawal Islam

Background

Nafisa Nawal Islam is currently working as an Assistant Professor (On Study Leave) in the Dept. of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. She received her B.S. and M.S. degree in Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology from the University of Dhaka in 2014 and 2015, respectively. She conducted her M.S. thesis work in Institute for developing Science and Health initiatives (ideSHi). Immediately after finishing her Masters, she started working as a Research Assistant in Advanced Fisheries and DNA Barcoding Laboratory, Dept. of Zoology, University of Dhaka until she joined Jahangirnagar University as a Lecturer in December 2016.
